Derek Wojtczak

My name is Derek Wojtczak and I am the Youth Sports Recreation Attendant. I have lived here on Miramar for the past 12 years and grew up playing in this exact program since I was about 9 years old. Seeing the positive effect that this program had on my childhood, really influenced my choice in wanting to see the program grow as a whole. I was blessed to have the great opportunity of volunteering for this program for over 5 years and now getting to do this job every day is quite incredible. What I love most about working in the Youth Sports environment has to be seeing the growth of these children’s skill level as they continue to play within our program. The everlasting impact that this program allows for us to leave on the children really inspires me to be the best person that I can day in and day out.
